What comes in your mind when you see these photos?
This is the life of people who have to work the whole day in order to survive!
They have been residing here for the last 40 years without having proper shelter.
Women were forced to defecate in the open and their children deprived of proper education and healthcare, and after such a long time they have finally got some attention by the authorities. They'll soon have toilets.
We went to talk to one of the women and when we inquired about their condition she was almost in tears and so were we!

Further, just 10 feet away there was a dustbin surrounded by garbage around it. A lot of garbage!
''GWALIOR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION'' is written on it an surely they have no time to take care of that bin.
The people have access to all the foul smell and healthy environment provided by the dustbin.

Restrictions have been imposed on their way of working by the authorities and no financial help has been provided.

Earning

Their only source of income is through selling the BATANS(Stone equipment used for grinding).
On days when luck favors them they manage to get rupees 250-300.

The woman who told us all about them had a shine of hope when she was telling.
While we were leaving she said one thing ; ''Please talk to them(Authorities) to help us out!

This surely left a huge impact on us.
 What can we do for them? How? Don't other people observe them?
