Goddess and whore!

I'm a blabber, I'm a bore, I'm a goddess, I'm a whore, I'm
cursed, I bleed, I'm smothered, I'm sold, I'm bewitching, I'm
bold, I'm a model, I'm a muse, Yet used & abused, I'm a song,
an inspiration, I'm a mystery, an exclamation, I'm moody, I'm
mean, I'm a learner, I'm keen, I'm the moon sometimes the
eclipse, I'm deep, almost an abyss, I'm a hero, I'm a warrior, I
ride, I crusade, I seduce, I invade, I'm a dream, I'm desire, I'm
water, I'm fire, I'm ogled at, I'm stared, Yet mostly a burden,
Rarely cared, I'm fiery, I'm fearless, I'm silly, I'm careless, I'm
weird, I'm intimidating, I'm the sun, I'm radiating, I'm a poem,
an endless work of art, I'm more than just another body with a
heart, I'm fragile, I'm naive, I fall, I rise, I'm alive, I am not
weak nor a trophy, I'm not your toy nor a wending machine, I'm
mad, I'm sane, I'm pure, I'm profane, I'm the current in the
tides, The salt of the sea, I'm whoever I want to be, I don’t
care for a day that proclaims to celebrate me.
I can’t be measured in words. Don’t even try & read me.
I dare say, I'm something that you can never be.

Women!

Don’t judge people by their profession but instead judge them by their character.
A prostitute sells her soul to make a living but most people fake their emotions to deceive others. But still, a “kothewaali” is looked upon as a characterless slut and people who fool others are categorized as ‘smart’.There is no right or wrong but the thinking makes it so.So what if a 30-year-old woman makes a choice to sleep with strangers to feed her only child, when her estranged and abusive husband throws her out of the house.
Did she make a mistake? Or her husband? Think it over.
Love cannot buy you life but money can.
Love cannot cure you from cancer and it definitely cannot provide you a roof for shelter. But a woman who decides to become a prostitute to cure her ailing father, who is battling cancer, is degraded by society.
I respect her. Do you?
Life is defined by the choices we make.
Women became prostitutes for many different reasons and child abuse is often regarded as a primary one but media misleads the audience by stating sexual curiosity as their sole purpose.
How proud are you of all your choices?
Sex is not a taboo but our mind has made it one.
Why is sex a taboo? Just because it involves dropping off your pants and being naked with someone you love. Or may be because you delete ‘history’ every time after watching porn to keep your lappy non-adulterated.
Mind is the only sex organ.
If the purpose of love is getting into bed, I guess prostitutes are the most auspicious lovers.
Alone and depressed, demons roam her mind, as the sun sets and her customers multiply, losing all concept of time, she gives herself to a man she hardly knows.
But she never found love. Never.

Give a period to the periods!

Political opinion!

Dear,
Don't make situations like penis, great to have one but not meant to wave in everyone's face!
Example: Political opinion!

Confused to the core!

Kis Ravan ki katun baahein,
Kis lanka mein aag lagaon,
Ghar ghar ravan, pag pag lanka,
Itne ram kahan se laon.
Nafraton ka asar dekho,
Janwaron ka batwara ho gaya,
Gaay hindu ho gayee aur bakra musalman ho gaya.
Mandiron mein hindu dekhe,
Masjidon mein musalman,
Sham ko jab maikhane mein dekha,
Tab jaakar dekhe insaan.
Ye ped ye patte ye shakhein bhi pareshan ho jayein,
Agar parinde bhi hindu aur musalman ho jayein.
Sukhe mewe bhi ye dekh kar pareshan ho gaye,
Ki mera chirag hawa ke khilaf kyun jalta hai.
Mein aman pasand hoan; mere shahar mein aman rehne do,
Laal aur hare mein mat baaton,
Meri chhat par tiranga rehne do.

Criticism and hatred!

Why force everyone to write with the right hand?
If someone is up with left, does it make any difference?
Just because you write with your right hand, doesn't give you the right to impose that on someone!
If someone breaks the religious barriers, leaves aside the caste system, has different political opinions, believes in equal rights and criticism, does not give YOU the privilege to pounce upon that person and call him names.
If you don't like my views, you are free to express without thinking about me beating the shit out of you.
Let's not further mix criticism with hatred, already lot of it out there.

Similarly, if you are a right wing supporter, stop imposing your views on your counter-parts.
If someone out there looted you for the last 60 years, doesn't mean you can't question the ones responsible now, just because they are here due to the collective conscience of people removing the old scum!
Think about it keeping aside the blind faith!

Caste system!

Ajaat: this literally means ones without caste. The ajaat was a
bold social movement of the 1920s and '30s that at its peak had
tens of thousands of committed followers in what are present-
day Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It was led
by the colourful and eccentric social reformer Ganpati
Bhabhutkar better known as Ganpati Maharaj. Chaitanya Prabhu
and Shyam Maharaj are his surviving grandsons. Apart from the
usual anti-liquor and anti-violence norms of such movements,
Ganpati Maharaj threw in others. He attacked caste frontally.
Many stopped idol worship at his call. He pressed for gender
equality and even railed against private property. And, in the
1930s, he and his followers declared themselves as ‘ ajaat.'
Very few know about this great social reformer in Maharashtra.

Jingoism!

Disabled poet attacked because he couldn't
stand for the National anthem before a movie.
I just don’t understand why it seems impossible for so many
people to express patriotism in a non-aggressive manner.”
Thinking hard in the aftermath of the cowardly blow, he says, “I
now believe that even if I could stand up during the national
anthem, I would rather not, simply because I am being forced to
do so. My father is an Air Force veteran. I represented the
nation in wheelchair tennis at the Australian Open. Look at my
life choices! Who are you to judge how much I love India?”
Salil Chaturvedi has the sanest analysis. He says, “Is this why we
fought the colonialists? Did we get our freedom only to become
sheep, and that too led by the most sinister, manipulative brutes
among us? I will not participate in this sham.”

Dear World, Here Is Everything Every Muslim Wants To Say To You

Dear World, Here Is Everything Every
Muslim Wants To Say To You
Today: I'm Sorry For Everything
“They’re
not Muslims” irritates you.
You’re hurting. You’ve bled. You’ve lost your children, you’ve
lost your mothers. You’ve lost friends, you’ve lost yourself
through all of this.
Every other
morning when I wake up and check the news. It breaks my
heart too, but you probably don’t believe it.
THEY BREAK YOU,BUT THEY HAVE DESTROYED US!
I say “us” and “you” and it hurts me. But I've
been forced to limit myself.
I know our “representatives” did this to us. You’re not to
blame. Your reaction is expected. Every day something
terrible happens and in all probability, someone who yelled
“Allahu Akbar” is to blame. I’m not saying he isn’t a Muslim,
for who am I to judge?
Ask
yourself, do they fight for us?
If they've hurt you, they've hurt us. You are
us, as we are you. Their hearts have shriveled away. We
stand with you, not them. Never them.
Let us be a part of your light.
Our insides burn for your love.
Yes I'm a Muslim, been to Mosque, read Quran, recite "Allahu-
Akbar", but
that doesn't stop me from telling the truth, seeking out others
without asking their religion, never been taught to maintain
distance from people of another community!

India and Religion!

I support and respect Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism), Islam,
Budhism and Sikhism
equally.
But strongly condemn the extremist ideology belonging to any
religion; terrorism which is often linked with Islam(ISIS, Al-
Qaeda & other groups) , Hindutva ideology(which is not
Hinduism), forced conversions linked to Christianity.
What follows after is politics mixed with religion, often we fail to
realise the damage and hatred it causes.
In the recent times if one was to analyse, we've actually been
divided in groups like Bhakts(BJP supporters), Aaptards,
Sickulars, Congis, nationals, anti nationals and more.
Photoshop is another boon which has been a useful tool in
spreading communal hatred, not to forget the countless
communal messages forwarded on WhatsApp.
India is much more than just trying to prove one's nationalism
and reacting to every communal fire agitated by so called
Politicians. who start remembering everything during the time of
elections, not to forget the Riots and communal environment
created. e.g: Kairana in the recent times.
There are people who want to live peacefully, there are people
who love each other without knowing the other persons religion,
there are people who don't get fooled every time politicians
agitate the fire, there are others!
Its high time that you actually start thinking rationally.
To all the politicians and religious leaders out there, stop
dividing us on the basis of religion.
This post may actually hurt some people's sentiments, not to be
rude but this is the truth and turning an blind eye wont change
anything!

Women and society!

I know a mother who still yearns that she should have worked
instead of getting married and having kids so early. She loves
her kids to bits, but if given a chance, I'm sure she would go
back in time and change the things accordingly. A genius like
her definitely belonged in a different place.
I have a friend who is getting married to a stranger because she
can not marry the person she loves. Why, you'd ask. Because
being a girl, she can not defy the society to go against her
parents and marry a guy from another caste. She needs to bear
the burden of her family's honour.
I know someone who has cried all night on my shoulders
because she didn't know how to fight back her molester who
belonged from her own family.
I have sisters who are dictated what to wear and what not,
because the pride of their family lies solely in the length of their
skirts or the width of their tops.
I have been to my Grandfather's village where a 60-year-old
woman was raped in an isolated shed, and her rapists asked
her, "Aur kis kis ghar me ladkiyaan hain ye batao".
I have a brother who thinks it is difficult for him to opt for 'Soft
courses' because a guy needs to earn more and hence, go for
lucrative degrees.
I know a daughter-in-law who was ridiculed for her humble
family background, and her husband could not stand up for her
due to the fear of being branded as a 'Joru Ka Gulaam'.
I know a woman whose husband left her, went to a different
city, and managed to have an extra-marital affair openly. She
stayed with her parents, waiting for him to come back. I have
witnessed her patience and excruciating pain.
I have seen someone who was suffering from paranoid
schizophrenia and he had to be chained outside his house. Until
one day he was brutally raped and left bleeding.
Don't tell me stories where everything happens according to the
plan. Don't tell me everyone is happy in their lives. Don't tell me
we need more money than we need love and hope. Don't tell me
that women are scheming people who are out to eat men alive.
Don't tell me that men are stronger than their emotions. Don't
tell me that not everyone is chained to their own attics of
solace, silently brooding a way to find an escape.
Don't paint that illusion for me. Just. Don't.

Feminism or hate?

I feel that ‘man-hating’ is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them.
-Robin Morgan, Ms. Magazine Editor

I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig.
-Andrea Dworkin

The more famous and powerful I get the more power I have to hurt men.
-Sharon Stone

The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race.
- Sally Miller Gearhart, in The Future – If There Is One – Is Female

A lot of feminists these days react like everything that happens to a woman is because of men, always playing the victim card. But somewhere we are forgetting that both the sexes are equal and deserve respect.
Women empowerment is necessary but not at the cost of degrading the value of men at the same level. Further its not necessary that only women can be feminists, there are men who are fighting for the rights of women.

I hope that i conveyed the  right message.

The Torture Began After Marriage

The lady in this video is Nasreen, a resident of Lucknow. She has a life full of trials and tribulations. First, she was put up for adoption. Her stepmother did not love her at all. She felt as if she was motherless. After all these years of reluctant rearing, she was finally put up for marriage. It was just like a lamb being put forth for slaughter. The final straw was that her husband was a loser, who burnt her with acid.

From day one her marriage was on the rocks. She tried again and again to revive her marriage and make it work, but in vain.
She persuaded her parents to find out a way to solemnize her marriage.

But her father’s reply was shocking and inhuman. He said that the status of a woman is nothing. If your husband leaves you, you will be abandoned by one and all.

Acid Attack Changed Her Life

She left for home and got the biggest scar of her life. Why? All she had wanted was the custody of her two daughters when she filed for divorce.
The real pain was not the hellish life she spent with her husbands. Her struggle reached its peak when she had to actually fight for life post attack.

She was abandoned by her near and dear ones. Those who tried to shelter her were threatened with dire results from the community. She was half-burnt, so no hospital would admit her. The stench from her body was unbearable so nobody would come near her. She had to stay in a weathered house, and ants would gnawing her skin. Nasreen died each day, but her will was not broken.
She remembers saying her doctor to bury her in case she did not make it.
But she survived. She survived long enough to narrate her stories on the popular MTV show Roadies.
Well, that’s a lot she faced. She is an iron lady. Nasreen, we salute you for your courage. Have a look at Nasreen’s audition in this Roadies Video.

Indians in brief!

The current situation that mostly is in air nowadays revolves around mixing politics and religion. Those who really understand the situation know the effects and how dangerous as well as pathetic it is.
On one side there are the sentiments of a particular religion and on the other side are the exact counter-parts.
Often the clashes turn ugly, deadly and bloodshed is common.
Using one simple trick of "Divide and rule", the politicians have constantly been into this stuff and unto a limit are succeeding in creating a barrier between communities.

Things have never been better between mainly Muslims and Hindus in India and are often involved in pity yet violent issues. What they fail to realise is that while proving their respective religions they are degrading humanity on a large scale.

It not uncommon in India for even small children to behave communally and what even more saddens is that there are people and institutions happy to provocate the young minds.

India leads in terms of number of communal riots than any other country and yet we fail to understand. We fail to understand that we are humans first.

We need to respect the differences that we have amongst us, hope someday we will!

A Man In Kerala Fed Hungry Street Kids In A Restaurant But He Didn’t Expect A Bill Like This

It's not everyday that we hear stories that inspire our compassion and warm our hearts.

A man in Malappuram, Kerala went into a restaurant to get dinner after a long day of work. He'd ordered and it was when his food arrived that he noticed a young pair of eyes looking at him and customers at other tables from outside the window. He gestured for the boy to come in and so he did, accompanied by his sister.

The man asked the children what they wanted to eat and the boy just pointed to the plate on his table. He ordered another plate and waited. The little boy couldn't contain his excitement and was about to dig in when his sister stopped him to gesture that they should wash their hands first.
They quietly finished the food ordered for them. No words were exchanged, not even smiles. When they finished, they looked at the man, washed their hands and left. Meanwhile, the man hadn't even begun his meal.
When he was done eating and called for the bill, he was met with a heart-warming gesture from the restaurant's management. The bill had no amount. Only a message. The message read:

"We don't have a machine that can bill humanity. May good things happen to you."

May they, indeed. Our world needs more people like him. It wasn't just those kids whose day was made from his kind gesture. It was everyone that witnessed it in the restaurant, and everyone that has now read about it. Everyone whose innate humanity he ended up stirring with one small act of goodwill.

Rohith Vemula: Silence over slap?

2004-2010

‘The environment here is fantastic……… nice people around’

It began with science and technology as instruments of social change, which rapidly segued to student politics. He started with the Students Federation of India (SFI), but shifted to the ASA over its neglect of caste, and became perhaps its youngest ideologue.

The first acquaintances Rohith made first in college and then the university recall him as soft-spoken, intelligent and built for scientific research.

B Kondiaiah, the principal of Andhra Pradesh Junior Residential College, Kodigenahalli, was a lecturer in 2004 at the time Rohith was a student there. “He was a very intelligent student who showed a lot of promise. Getting admission in this college is difficult since we admit only the brightest rural students after an entrance test. He was not political in any way. He had a lot of friends and was easy-going,” says Kondaiah.

He even remembers Rohith’s Class XII score — 521 on 600, an impressive 86 per cent.
Rohith’s chemistry teacher J V Krishnaiah says, “He was a good student, passed with first class. He studied biology, physics and chemistry. His English was also good, though he was better at Telugu.”

Ramji Chintagada is considered among Rohith’s closest friends at UoH. “Those days he was not interested in politics. He preferred science and how we could change the world through science. He was a kind of technocrat,” says Ramji.

In his suicide note, Rohith mentioned Ramji and asked that the Rs 40,000 that he borrowed from him be returned when the university released his fellowship money (it was stopped in July). “I don’t know from where he got that figure of Rs 40,000,” Ramji says. “I never kept count. He would occasionally borrow money, primarily to send it home to his parents. Sometimes Rs 5,000, sometimes Rs 8,000.”
Adding that Rohith “was the brightest guy I met”, he says, “I am still not able to process his death.”

2011-2014

‘In a nation like ours, death could be the only thing which can rescue us’

His Facebook posts of the time also document this shift. From posting jokes and memes, to putting up videos of Telugu movie clips, Rohith started writing about the December 16 gang rape in New Delhi.

“A nation where 545 elected members (with 33% women candidates) failed to take a stand on the side of a girl child…… A nation where politicians behave as elected brokers, where no one does any work without a commission…. A nation where students feel shy, timid and embraced (embarrassed) of raising their voice against an odd thing….. A nation where educated intellectuals run for money like machines…… In a nation like our’s, death could be the only thing which can rescue us ….” he posted on December 29, 2012, after the gang rape victim died.

2014-2016

‘The grave will supply plenty of time for silence…’

It was in Uma’s room that Rohith committed suicide. In his suicide note, Rohith apologised to him for the same.
“He found solace in the teachings of Ambedkar. Communists do not deal with caste issue at all, particularly on campus here. With Ambedkar, things started to make sense for Rohith, like why Dalits are treated the way they are, or why the eradication of caste is perhaps the most important thing in the country,” says Sunkanna.

In the past two years, Rohith also came to be known for his unflinching resolve, Vijay says. “He would never back down from a fight and everybody came to realise that. Perhaps this was also his weakness, that it took very little to antagonise him.”

On his Facebook page, Rohith appeared to acknowledge this. “A small time sociology student, with uncontrollable reactive reflexes :),” he wrote about himself.
“Whether it was about Ambedkar or (Jyotirao) Phule, class or caste, it did not matter. Rohith believed he was capable of winning any argument. Once you started it, it was hard to end, and Rohith was often aggressive,” says Vijay.

Both the belligerence and the articulation helped Rohith, only 26, become one of the ASA’s most influential leaders.
“We all speak English, but Rohith was at a different level. Look at his suicide note. It is lucid and expressive. He took the ASA to new heights through his writing,” says Seshaiah.

In a section on his favourite quotes, Rohith cited one by Christopher Hitchens: “Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence….”

This was his last letter. [*** TRIGGER WARNING ***]
"Good morning,
I would not be around when you read this letter. Don't get
angry on me. I know some of you truly cared for me, loved me
and treated me very well. I have no complaints on anyone. It
was always with myself I had problems. I feel a growing gap
between my soul and my body. And I have become a monster.
I always wanted to be a writer. A writer of science, like Carl
Sagan.
At last, this is the only letter I am getting to write.
I loved Science, Stars, Nature, but then I loved people without
knowing that people have long since divorced from nature. Our
feelings are second handed. Our love is constructed. Our
beliefs colored. Our originality valid through artificial art. It has
become truly difficult to love without getting hurt.
The value of a man was reduced to his immediate identity and
nearest possibility. To a vote. To a number. To a thing. Never
was a man treated as a mind. As a glorious thing made up of
star dust. In very field, in studies, in streets, in politics, and in
dying and living.
I am writing this kind of letter for the first time. My first time of
a final letter. Forgive me if I fail to make sense.
Maybe I was wrong, all the while, in understanding world. In
understanding love, pain, life, death. There was no urgency.
But I always was rushing. Desperate to start a life. All the
while, some people, for them, life itself is curse. My birth is my
fatal accident. I can never recover from my childhood
loneliness. The unappreciated child from my past.
I am not hurt at this moment. I am not sad. I am just empty.
Unconcerned about myself. That's pathetic. And that's why I
am doing this.
People may dub me as a coward. And selfish, or stupid once I
am gone. I am not bothered about what I am called. I don't
believe in after-death stories, ghosts, or spirits. If there is
anything at all I believe, I believe that I can travel to the stars.
And know about the other worlds.
If you, who is reading this letter can do anything for me, I have
to get 7 months of my fellowship, one lakh and seventy five
thousand rupees. Please see to it that my family is paid that. I
have to give some 40 thousand to Ramji. He never asked
them back. But please pay that to him from that.
Let my funeral be silent and smooth. Behave like I just
appeared and gone. Do not shed tears for me. Know that I am
happy dead than being alive.
"From shadows to the stars."
Uma anna, sorry for using your room for this thing.
To ASA family, sorry for disappointing all of you. You loved me
very much. I wish all the very best for the future.
For one last time,
Jai Bheem
I forgot to write the formalities. No one is responsible for my
this act of killing myself.
No one has instigated me, whether by their acts or by their
words to this act.
This is my decision and I am the only one responsible for this.
Do not trouble my friends and enemies on this after I am
gone."
I stand with him!
